Cheese Making Training Classes In Pennsylvania

You can be trained to make your own cheese by the most sought after cheesemaker in America. Eldore Hanni, a second generation Wisconsin trained cheesemaker with over 60 years of experience producing more than 40 kinds of gourmet quality specialty cheese, trains Kitchen Hobbyists, Farmstead Artisan cheese making ventures and commercial cheese making personnel all over the country.

Eldore is now also offering one day cheese making classes of hands on training at Greenfield Dairy, a small Farmstead Artisan cheese venture dairy farm on Highway 104 - two miles North of Middleburg, Pennsylvania. All day classes usually are held on Fridays and are conducted by Eldore Hanni personally. You will learn how to make (right in your own kitchen) old fashion absolutely delicious raw milk cottage cheese. You will also learn how to make one kind of raw milk artisan or organic commercial cheese of your choice. At the end of the training venture, you will be given a free container of fresh cottage cheese, and a free 10 pound wheel of artisan cheese to take along home to share with your friends.

Plus you will receive priceless copies of detailed recipes containing professional trade secrets of each kind of cheese made in your class for you to take along home.

  • Cost of training: $595.00 per day.
  • Cheese samples are free.
  • Training on site is limited to eight students per day.
  • Advanced reservations and payment can be made with credit card or check.
